Founders

Linx Research Ltd., the driving force behind the Linx protocol, was co-founded in late 2022 by Floor de Best, Radu Ciobanu, and Raul Canta. This trio of visionary technologists and designers brings a wealth of expertise in full-stack development and user experience (UX) design, united by a mission to create a comprehensive, secure, and user-friendly DeFi platform.

Their leadership has propelled the development of the Linx Wallet, Linx App, Linx DEX Aggregator, Linx Lending, Linx OTC and the forthcoming Linx Crypto Debit Card, establishing Linx as a leader in decentralized finance on the Kadena and Alephium blockchains.

Floor de Best, Co-Founder & Full-Stack Developer

  • Background: Floor de Best is a seasoned full-stack developer with extensive experience in building scalable blockchain applications.   • Role: As a co-founder, Floor leads the development of the protocol’s smart contracts and wallet infrastructure. He oversees the integration of the Linx ecosystem with Kadena’s multi-chain architecture and Alephium’s sharded blockchain.

  • Contributions: Floor architected the Linx Wallet’s chainless and gas-free transaction system, launched on Kadena in 2023, and spearheaded the protocol’s expansion to Alephium in 2024. His focus on security and efficiency ensures the protocol’s smart contracts are robust and audited, aligning with Linx’s commitment to trustlessness.

Radu Ciobanu, Co-Founder & Full-Stack Developer

  • Background: Radu Ciobanu is a highly skilled full-stack developer and software architect specializing in blockchain interoperability and DeFi protocol development. His expertise in optimizing transaction throughput and user interactions has been critical to Linx Labs’ technical advancements.

  • Role: Radu drives the development of the Linx protocols, tools and ensuring seamless liquidity aggregation and a cohesive user experience across Kadena and Alephium. He also contributes to the protocol’s API (api.linxlabs.org).

  • Contributions: Radu developed the Linx DEX Aggregator’s advanced routing algorithm, enabling optimal trade execution with minimal slippage. His work on the Linx App’s mobile interface has made DeFi accessible on iOS and Android, supporting the protocol’s goal of reaching everyday consumers.

Raul Canta, Co-Founder & UI/UX Designer

  • Background: Raul Canta is a talented UI/UX designer with a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing interfaces. His expertise in user-centered design has shaped Linx’s reputation for delivering exceptional user experiences in DeFi.

  • Role: Raul leads the design of the Linx Wallet and Linx App ensuring a seamless and engaging experience across all platforms. He collaborates with the development team to align design with technical functionality.
